Prices

All prices are in US dollars. [VAT TREATMENT — NOT YET CONFIRMED: STATE WHETHER PRICES INCLUDE TAX AND HOW TAX IS HANDLED PER COUNTRY]

Shipping is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Import duties and taxes in your own country, if any, are yours to pay.

Your order

Your order becomes a contract when I send you an order confirmation by email, not when you click the button. If something is wrong — an obviously mispriced item, a book I cannot supply — I may decline the order and refund you in full. That is rare, and you will hear from me if it happens.

Delivery

Paperbacks are printed to order and shipped as described on the Shipping and returns page.

Ebooks are delivered as a download link by email, valid for 72 hours and up to five downloads. Ask and I will send a fresh link.

Returns and changing your mind

See Shipping and returns. In short: 14 days to change your mind on a paperback if you are in the EU or the UK; damaged books replaced free anywhere; ebooks not returnable once downloaded, which you confirm at checkout.

Nothing here limits the rights you have under consumer law where you live.

What you may do with an ebook

The PDF is for you, your household, and the children you read to. You may print a copy for your own use.

You may not upload it, share it publicly, sell it, or distribute copies to a class, a group or an organisation. If you need multiple copies for a school, a preschool or a library, email me — that is a conversation I want to have, and it is cheaper than you might expect.

The stories, illustrations, characters and the Hollowdale setting remain the property of Ruben Bell Books.

If something goes wrong

I am one person publishing picture books. If a book arrives damaged, does not arrive, or is not what the page said it was, I will fix it — replacement or refund, your choice. Beyond that, my liability is limited to what you paid for the order, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer rules in your own country.

If we cannot agree, you can take a complaint to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, or to the EU's online dispute resolution platform.

Changes

If these terms change, the version in force is the one you saw when you ordered.
