Brambleton Bay Tales

Theme: Courage and trying new things

Brave isn't the same as not scared.

Brambleton Bay is where the river finally widens into the sea, all jetties, shallows and rock pools. It is where the stories about going anyway live.

The setting: Rock pools, jetties and shallow water.

What these stories explore

Fear, and the decision to go anyway. First attempts, being watched, going further than last time, and starting over. These stories never pretend the fear disappears; they are interested in what happens while it is still there.
